REUSE JeansStep into a smaller carbon footprint one leg at a time.
Our CollectionInspiring conscious consumption with premier-quality denim, REUSE jeans are tailored for stylish fits, processed with fashion forward wash treatments and accentuated by handcrafted detailing and signature touches.
Generated from the belief that environmental awareness can coexist with fashion, REUSE debuts its unrivaled collection of eco-friendly jeans in the spring of 2010.
Sustainable, attainable and constructed from 80% recycled fabric, REUSE jeans embody the future of the fashion industry.
Why Recycled Jeans?According to the Environmental Protection Agency, Americans generated more than 11.8 million tons of textile waste in 2006 alone, amounting to a remarkable 10 pounds per person. In our world of overflowing landfills and global warming, recycling is more relevant than ever. Recycled jeans help counteract the human effect of the disposable fashion industry, while contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable earth.

When searching for a new pair of jeans, most shoppers focus on fit and price, paying little attention to the carbon cost of their purchase. True fashion is fueled by innovation and creativity, so shouldn’t your jeans be? Uniting ecology with technology, we recycle fabric from the textile waste stream to manufacture eco-friendly jeans with minimal new material.
Our Commitment to SustainabilityWe’re not just committed to sustainability, but to authenticity. That is why we’re transparent about the REUSE production process and will continue to evolve and explore along the way.
While it may seem counterintuitive, our production process takes place in China. As a region that has long been the center of inexpensive manufacturing, without regard to environmental preservation, China’s landfills are fraught with textile waste, while the air in many urban settings has been deemed unsafe. Notably, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, on certain days, one-fourth of the particulate matter (dust and soot) in Los Angeles originates from China. By helping to reverse the damage in China, we’re not only cleaning-up Asia, but we’re also contributing to a healthier Earth.
